During the first year the international activities were carried out through etwinning .Our ‘Nice to meet you’ -project was awarded with both the Finnish and the European label of quality. We have been publishing a webmagazine TheSchoolPost for two years.
In addition to this Salvelanrinteen School has organized several student exchanges, for example to Italy, Spain and Portugal. Students from countries also visited Salvelanrinteen koulu in Finland. During these visits the youngsters stayed in host families. In Salvelanrinteen koulu, international projects are carried out by an optional subject: Internationality. The students who have chosen this subject will be the main workers in the project
